Expert summary
Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released by Nintendo Company Ltd. The most important feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote. The remote can be used as a handheld pointing device and it can detect movement in three dimensions. Another peculiar feature is iiConnect24 which enables it to receive messages and updates from the Internet when it is in standby mode. When it hit the market Wii had to compete with the other popular consoles in the market, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It soon outsold both competitors and its total installed base is now close to the combined total of the two systems.Recommended content

Nintendo Wii Pocket Guide
With the success of the Nintendo Wii, many upcoming owners are having a very tough time on finding the new game system, and deciding if it is the right system for them. This book The Nintendo Wii Pocket Guide, is a simple and easy reflection about what the Nintendo Wii is all about. It is also easy to highlight all the simple instructions on how to operate the new system, and each of the simple parts of the system, from the virtual console and Wii Shop channel where you can download games like Super Mario 64, to a quick how to guide on what games are best suited for the system, and all the kinks of extras like the Internet Channel. It is a quirky and convient guide for anyone who has bought the system used without instructions, or if you're planning on buying Nintendo's dynamic console. I realy like how simple the book is, and it is a great buy. -
Mario Kart (Wii)
There is no doubt about the success of the Nintendo Wii. With games that have shown the test of time like Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Nintendo has really shown its strength. Sadly though, they've stopped making strategy guides last year, and chose to let third-party companies like Prima, make strategy guides of their own. While Prima has made some guides that were adequate like Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy, they just haven't shown the best peak. For Mario Kart Wii, which just came out for the Wii, has a strategy guide of its own that Prima has made, and this one does a much better job than the other ones. This Mario Kart Wii guide takes on each and every tidbit for fans of the Wii. The guide shows you maps for each of the 32 different tracks like classics like the Bowser Castle from Super Mario 64 and new courses like the Toad Factory, and tells you how to unlock hidden gems like unlocking hidden characters like Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy and Dry Bones from the classic Super Mario Brothers 3. Each bit of help is well shown here. If you are in the driver's seat and own Mario Kart Wii, than this would be a great buy for you. Helping you with the need for plumber speed. -
Lara Croft Tomb Raider
This is a great game! It is a little hard to learn the controls, but just as much fun as every other game!
